Verification
DataGroomr clearly displays the credit cost for each verification service, so you always know how many credits will be used.
Credits are only used when verification services run and are based on the type of data being verified, such as an email address, phone number, website, or mailing address.

Credits are used for usage-based services that access external verification providers, AI models, or third-party enrichment services. Examples include email verification, address verification, AI enrichment, and third-party enrichment workflows.
Do all DataGroomr features consume credits?
No. Most core platform capabilities—including duplicate detection, merging, data transformations, automation, dashboards, and reporting—do not consume credits. Credits are only used for eligible usage-based services.
Are credits shared across verification and enrichment?
Yes. All verification and enrichment services draw from the same pool of DataGroomr credits included with your subscription or purchased separately.
When are credits consumed?
Credits are only deducted when a verification request or enrichment action is successfully executed. The number of credits consumed depends on the specific service being used.
Can I use my own AI provider?
Yes. DataGroomr supports Bring Your Own AI (BYO AI). When you use your own supported AI provider, enrichment workflows consume fewer DataGroomr credits than workflows powered by DataGroomr’s managed AI services.
Can I purchase additional credits?
Yes. Additional credit packages are available at any time if your organization needs more capacity than is included with your subscription.
Do included credits expire?
Included annual credits renew with your subscription each year. All credits, including purchased credit packages, expire one year after the date they are issued.
How can I estimate how many credits I'll need?
Usage depends on the services you use and the number of records you process. Your included annual credits are sufficient for many organizations, and additional credit packages are available as your usage grows.
