July ’21 Release: What’s new in DataGroomr?

By July 31, 2021January 26th, 2022No Comments

In July we focused on making DataGroomr easier and implementing customer’s ideas.

Verify data and see verification status globally

We extended data verification from Brushr to all modules so now you can verify records in Brushr, Trimmr or Importr and see if email or phone is valid in Trimmr when merging records or Importr when importing.

Compare to both leads and contacts when importing new leads

Many updates were made to Importr to streamline CSV imports.
Taking advantage of cross-object datasets you may now compare to two objects at a time when importing, this is particularly useful if you want to check if the leads you are importing are already in Salesforce as either Leads or Contacts. Just select the cross-object dataset on the upload dialog and DataGroomr will compare to two objects.

Same feature lets you select a single-object dataset to compare against when importing records, it will speed-up import as now instead of running comparison to all Salesforce records you can compare only to a subset of your data.

CSV import mapping templates

Reuse columns mapping – set up columns mapping first time you upload CSV and then simply upload another CSV in the same dataset, the mapping will be preselected or you can change it if needed.

Simply click Upload CSV on the existing dataset in Importr to use it.

New merge rule in Supervisr

Merge rules have been extended to let you get a value of a specific master record field. DataGroomr merge rules is the most comprehensive solution on the market. If you need any merge rule that you having issues designing in DataGroomr let us know and we will make sure to help you.

Standardize URLs in Supervisr

New transform rule has been added to standardize and format URLs.

Export events in Auditr

Export individual events or all events from Auditr for offline analysis or audit purposes.

The file includes details for the following operations: merge, convert, update, delete with record IDs of master records and duplicate records.

What’s coming in the next release?

Here’s what you can expect next in DataGroomr:

  • Physical addresses verification;
  • Role-based security for permissions management within DataGroomr
  • Restore merged records

If there are other features that are important to you, we invite you to add them to the Ideas Exchange portal or vote on existing features already there.

As always, we would like to remind you that we offer a free, 14-day trial of DataGroomr. Please feel free to forward this article to your Trailblazer colleagues. They can start the Free Trial by logging in with their Salesforce credentials. There is no setup required and, as you know, you can get a handle on the duplicate management of your data right away!
